How it transfers records
FMCSA’s file records Local (Bluetooth), Telematic (Web Service). Telematic transfer means the device sends the driver’s records to the inspector’s system over the internet, by web service or by email. Local transfer means the driver hands the records over at the roadside, on a USB stick or over Bluetooth.
